subspiele: why did you call the mix “aurora borealis” ?
marcel brandes: i called the mix “aurora borealis” because in my opinion the northern
lights are one of the most beautiful and impressive natural wonders.
in addition to that it’s common to call people from the north of germany (like me) “nordlichter”.
so i thought it fits perfectly. 
unfortunately i wasn’t lucky to see them in real life yet.
subspiele: where did you record the mix ?
marcel brandes: the mix was recorded in my flat in hamburg.
subspiele: which is the song that you recently liked the most ?
marcel brandes: i used to play “mash – style is the answer” a lot this year. amazing groove!
subspiele: how do you feel now ?
marcel brandes: same old same old…
subspiele: how should it go on ?
marcel brandes: as it’s the beginning of a new year i’m quite curious about what might happen –
got no exact plans so far… perhaps i’m gonna see the northern lights this year?!
